Watch the ad showing 'unaborted Obama' in womb

By Chelsea Schilling
© 2009 WorldNetDaily

A pro-life ad is celebrating President Barack Obama's mother's decision not to abort the first black American president, and the video has already caught the attention of more than 200,000 viewers.

The commercial begins with an ultrasound image of a baby moving in his mother's womb.

"This child's future is a broken home," it says.
"He will be abandoned by his father."
"His single mother will struggle to raise him."
"Despite the hardships, he will endure," the ad states. "This child will become the first African American president."

It features a photo of President Obama and concludes, "Life. Imagine the potential."
The ad comes just as a number of events are scheduled in Washington to mark the 36th anniversary of the 1972 U.S. Supreme Court Roe vs. Wade opinion that struck down state restrictions on abortion, essentially installing that "right" in the Constitution.

The promotion is sponsored by href="http://www.catholicvote.com/">CatholicVote.org, a faith-based educational program. The organization website states that it launched its "Life: Imagine the Potential" campaign "to reach Americans who are either indifferent, or who have not yet thought about the great potential of every human life."

President Obama's agenda regarding "reproductive choice" has been posted on the White House website.

It states, Obama "has been a consistent champion of reproductive choice and will make preserving women's rights under Roe v. Wade a priority in his Adminstration."

Himilayan Orphans sing praises

We enjoy many different types of music and in our family we love to dance and sing praise in many different tongues. We actually prefer ethnic Christian praise music to English! ;-) Here is a favorite that we love. Be blessed as you listen and watch. It always blesses me to see that the widow, the poor, and the orphan are known by God and even in their circumstance, He can fill them with joy, praise, peace and purpose. He calls these children by name and they are His! To hear this, go to playlist at the bottom of my blog on turn the volume off of the music playing. Heartsounds has whole collectins of praise music around the world that is amazing. We love the different Indian, Asian and african songs. Here is the excerpt by Heart sounds.

"HIMALAYAS, NEPALI ORPHANGE
Ascending the heights of the Himalayas we discovered what must be one of God's dearest treasures. A Christian orphanage is located here that is home to many Nepali children and youth who would otherwise be homeless.

That is treasure enough, but these children also rise with the sun every morning and see the sun down every evening while they offer beautiful heart-felt worship and prayers. Reports say that the sound of their voices from here reach the heavens but also reverberate all they way down the long Himalayan valleys giving light and hope to all who hear.

We could not help but wonder how a God who is big enough to affect matters of an entire world can manage to find a way to reveal His love to these children in this very remote and isolated "roof of the world". It has served as a reminder to us that God specializes in finding all of us, especially in the most remote places of our hearts, lives and existence. Heartsounds.org

My hubby ROCKS! Ode to Huatzin

I absolutely just love my husband. He is so precious and awesome. For many years I'd get so annoyed with him for not doing things the way "I" do things and not having the same level of enthusiasm for things that I felt were important. The Lord has showed me in so many ways what a good heart Huatzin has and how totally blessed I am to have him. He is truly my better half. Huatzin is so laid back and accepting which is why everyone loves him. He is fun, funny and adventurous. He is kind, thoughtful and considerate. He throws himself into whatever he does. This man is sweet. He has made the family breakfast the last month or so while I lazily sleep in to avoid the nausea. I'm not taking cereal here, but pancakes, eggs, bacon sausage. I never asked him, he just does it. I know I am called to be keeper of the home but it is so sweet that he is so considerate during this season of sickness.

He honestly, or at least tells me sincerely how beautiful he thinks I am, often. My dear husband still pines away after me. He has eyes for me and me alone and tries to spend time with me at every opportunity. I can trust that if I feel unattractive, or have a pity party over weight gain, or not having my hair braided, my husband tackles me and steals hugs kisses... I am on so many boards and groups where dear sisters have critical unloving or unaffectionate husbands that it causes me count my blessings. How often we take for granted such blessings. I love how he nurtures our little ones. He is more than happy to have the kids in our bed if they need to be, he wears our kiddos. I have met folks that had hubbies kick kids out of bed or weren't supportive of nursing as they felt in interfered with husband/wife relationship. That wouldn't work well for our kiddos. I am grateful for a DH that considers the needs of our family.

From coaching special needs people in Sports for Exceptional Athletes) to minstering to and encouraging neglected unsupervised neighborhood kids, to working so hard to provide for his family and his heart for adoption, I stand amazed. He has never had a father yet he is a great one. He hasn't even read the hundreds of parenting books that I have and I think he's actually better for it! ;-) He has never seen a good marraige and yet he is a great husband.

Anyway my super Husband got the kids airsoft guns for Christmas and bought tons of plywood and added hinges to them to make our yard to have many bunkers and to look like a battlefield. He then invited over families from our homeschooling group and ordered food for a BBQ. We had such a memorable time watching the dads and kids playing together and having such a blast. I have included photos, and will include more shortly. Now go give your hubby a huge kiss & tell him how much you appreciate him. Alida w4
